Breaking Chains will be holding a Christmas celebration in partnership with our Church, Centro Cristiano Liberado, on Saturday, December 6th beginning at noon and going until all the children leave. The Las Vegas BC team led by Chris Chapel will be leading an outreach that will include games, skits, gifts, and Christian movies for the poor community that live across the freeway from the My Daughters House campus. You can participate in this event in any of the following ways: - We need at least 200 new gifts to be distributed to these children…if you can give one it will be awesome.
Donate a Costco card to help cover the cost of the items needed to host the event. These events are a blast and we need volunteers beginning at 7:00 AM on Saturday to help with set and food prep. During the event volunteers will be needed to help with children's crafts, games, gift distribution, and 1 on 1 sharing of God's Word. Spanish helps but we will also have some EvangeCube blocks on hand. We need to get a lot of things to the site including gifts, food, tables, etc, etc. If you have a truck or van, we need people to pick up in SD and deliver either the day of the event or before. Drama teams, face painters, clowns, etc, etc. There will be lots of opportunities to make this day special for these children who will likely not have a Christmas beyond this.
